You still might be able to go. We have started a WAITING LIST. Right now there's only 3 people on it. I'm hoping 20-30 more people join it, and that we take everyone on it to camp.
A few weeks ago I got a facebook message from a parent that informed me that his daughter was ready to recite the book of Philippians, front to back, word for word.
In January I had announced that we would be giving away a scholarship to the 1st student that could complete the task of memorizing Philippians. I hadn't had anyone mention to me that they were trying, or wanting to complete it. That was until this dad had contacted me. So I was surprised and excited for this young lady.
So the night of the House Party here at MISSION, Chelsea Knotts stepped into my office ready to recite Paul's letter to the Philippians. AND she NAILED it. I was so impressed.
So, Chelsea will be going to camp this summer for free!! I will also be buying her lunches for her to and from camp. Here is a video of Chelsea nailing it. Check it out.

Student Ministries Spring Parent Meeting - April 18th, 1:30-3:30
Tons of great info, a chance to meet the Student Ministries team, and a special guest! Culture expert and veteran youth pastor Mark Matlock will be joining us for the day! He will help you become a proactive parent when it comes to the faith of your children.
You can download Forest Home's scholarship application by clicking HERE.
You can turn the application into us here at Mission, and we will make sure that Forest Home gets them. The process takes about 3 weeks, and the funds are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. The staff at Forest Home decides who to grant scholarships to. The most anyone can receive for this camp is $182, which would make your grand total for camp $278!
You can pay your deposit (and the full amount) by clicking HERE to be redirected to Mission's registration page.
We meet Sunday mornings @ 9a in the Student Center (map) and in small groups during the week.
Our Jr. High Ministry, led by Pastor Josh, is a great place for students to come together and hang out, develop some deep friendships, and encounter the Living God. We are dedicated to living out the vision of Micah 6:8 "...doing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with our God."
We put great value in creating safe and encouraging places for our students to learn and grow.
