Groups
all life stages, in many places
Groups for all life stages meet throughout the week at various times and locations. Each of our groups share a common path as they move forward in friendship, discipleship and mission.
- Friendship... that is trusting and dependable
- Discipleship... that challenges us to learn and live like Jesus
- Mission... that accomplishes God’s justice and mercy in our church, community and world
Types of Groups
At Mission, we have groups for many different audiences (age groups, gender based, location, etc) but they are all grouped into one of two categories:
- Discipleship groups: a gathering of people who meet regularly for friendship, discipleship and mission. These involve Bible, book and video studies and every semester each group participates in a justice/mercy project.
- Activity groups: people who share life together within the context of a common interest in a particular activity (softball, hiking, cycling, home schooling, etc.)
Finding the Right Group
New Groups this semester include... * Starting Point * Young Married's * Men's Thursday morning study * & Motorcycle riders. Check out these groups and many others HERE.
You'll also notice on our group listing that each group study has a "study level." This is provided so that you can choose a group not only based on its location, age grouping, or childcare, but also on which study would help you take your next steps in your relationship with God. Below is a brief description of each study type:
Explorer Studies - These studies are for people taking the first steps in their spiritual growth.
Learner Studies - These studies are for early believers who are growing in their faith through church experiences and are starting to incorporate spiritual practices into their daily routine.
Influencer Studies - These studies are for believers whose devotion to Christ is growing deeper.
Investor Studies - These studies are for people striving to be fully surrendered to Christ seeking Gods guidance in every area of their lives.

Recommended Curriculum/Studies
Explorer Studies - These studies are for people taking the first steps in their spiritual growth. They may believe in God but may not be sure about Jesus & salvation. Faith has not been a significant part of their life.
Learner Studies - These studies are for early believers who are growing in their faith through church experiences and are starting to incorporate spiritual practices into their daily routine. They have placed their faith in Jesus for salvation and want to work on what it means to know Him better.
Influencer Studies - These studies are for believers whose devotion to Christ is growing deeper. They seek to increase their dependence on Christ and the Bible for daily guidance and they are eager to express their faith in tangible ways.
Investor Studies - These studies are for people striving to be fully surrendered to Christ seeking God’s guidance in every area of their lives. Their personal spiritual practices are second nature and Christ is their first love.
