Worship

experience worship, teaching & community

At MISSION, each weekend is a huge celebration of what God is doing in and through our community. In each of our three, 70-minute worship gatherings, you will experience worship, teaching, and community that is intentionally tied into the Micah 6:8 vision in the following ways:

Deeply Led into Worship

Our worship pastor, CJ Bergmen is just that, a pastor. Through his leadership, we want each person to be deeply led into worship of our God in our gatherings. The music is modern and creative but not overbearing. We want God to be the consumer of our praise for His glory and not ours.

Word of God Central

In all things, we hold God’s Word as an authority for teaching in our lives. Pastor Mark teaches from the Bible in each message and uses Scripture as the foundation of his teaching.

Vision on Display

In case you haven’t noticed, we are big on doing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with our God (Micah 6:8). We believe that God has called us to follow Him in each of those things and try to remind ourselves and our guests of that each weekend during our worship gatherings.

Christ Exalted in All Things

Ultimately, all of our praise and worship is for the glory of Jesus Christ. We never want to lose sight of the fact that His resurrection is our reason for worship and we desire to exalt Him in all things.

Technology is not a Distraction

Lights, screens, and sounds are cool but they can sometimes be a distraction for the worshipper. For each of our gatherings, we try to protect the worship environment by not letting technology get in the way of worship by being used too much or incorrectly.

Next Steps are Clearly Communicated

Many times during a worship gathering, people will be called to action. With each teaching message and worship gathering, we give a clear path to respond to the Holy Spirit’s leading. Sometimes this “next step” is serving or doing justice and sometimes it is reflection and personal.

We hope you come worship with us during one of our weekend gatherings. Please check out the services times and info to find the one that best fits your schedule.
